BMW 320D 2.0 2000 - Non start, code 67 injection pump ECU internal error #

Engine Size and Code *: 2.0
( Optional ) Scanner Used: snap on modis
( Optional) Fault Codes: 67 injection pump ecu internal error
This car was towed in the man said he staled the car turning into a side road (in to high of a rear he said)car will not start from this .Plenty of fuel to the injectors tried it on a tow but still nothing Plugged it in and this is the only code 67 injection pump ecu internal error. Has anyone came across this and is the ecu bolted to the top of the pump?
