If the DPF cannot be cleaned out then one cheaper option would be to have the DPF removed and replaced with an insert. The ECU would have to be re-programmed to take this into consderation to stop throwing up DPF and associated fault codes. A lot of re-mapping firms such as mine are finding an increased interest in this option.
