many thanks to sean, new pump seems to have fixed the flow rate problem to the engine fuel pump.still trying to take fully in how the electrical pump works in 2 different modes,my first thought is that the polarity is changed by the rear electrical module so it can either supply fuel to engine pump or transfer fuel left to right bit like single washer pump doing front and rear washers.road testing has not brought the dtc back and it seems to be performing well so far,will get customers thoughts over the next few days,but doubt he will like the £250 price tag for the pump.sean you mention diagnostic tool mt pro ,has anyone any more details on it please, quick google didnt turn anything up for it but will try harder time permitting ,many thanks again regards paul
