IIRC the cam belt set up is the same as a Ford Ranger 2.5. There is nothing vicious on the timing belt to worry about - everything is keyed so you can just mark it up.
You won't need any special tools but be aware that the heads regularly crack. Speak to Bongobits 01752 250777 for mail order parts - including new heads.
Whilst it's in bits, check water pump, radiator hoses and crank pulley - all fairly common. You also need to be very careful filling with coolant. There's a bleed hose tied to the left side of the engine compartment - make sure you use it to get the air out of the block.
