But you can first of all have a look in the fuel tank for filings, best to shine a light in as filings can be very small and the light picks up on them, if its clean then its worth going for a fix.
poor injectors can increace fuel pressure but unlikely to reach 1800bar, have they been reconed correctly? (new sticker with C2I calibration number)there are folk out there just fitting nozzles and internals and no new C2I number.
even though you have had the pump tested i would still be looking at what plays the biggest part in controling pressure, the IMV and the control of it.
