Thanks for your reply, when i replaced the new additive ecu i set both the counters to the original readings, then put the engine code in and the transmission type. I have found out since that this code doesnt mean that the additive is overfilled. It means that the ecu has injected enough additive for thelife span of the DPF, so i reset the first counter which cleared the fault code and told my customer that the may want changing.
