They can be a sod to bleed, So its worth spending some time on.

KTS is more Likely to give you a good reult as it normally comes up and actualy says "FAULTY PUMP". replace pump. where Tech 2 comes up with the usual "CRITICAL SYSTEM MALFUNCTION". Leaving you to do the extra diagnosis
Is the pump that you fitted exactly the right part no. ?? otherwise it might not start.
If not, You can check that in ESI by entering both part numbers and looking at Product to vehicle use to see what models they fit.
