Well its fixed, once running all scanned well but once stopped it would take ages to restart with slow build up of fuel rail pressure. having done injector leak back and pump tested i had a light bulb moment which frankly i should have had a lot earlier but hey ho. the fuel rail has a pressure sensor like on lots of vehicles but most famously the mercedes range esp sprinter!These are notorious for the oring splitting and had it been a merc would have been my first check! i took it off and low and behold the oring was split!!!! had another pump here off something else and nicked the seal off that and now full operation is restored! simple i should really have known better but there you go.
