Got to admit not familiar with this vehicle. It is a basic farmers spec. Has a distributor pump and electrically controlled vacuum operated EGR and intake air butterfly.

Revs top out at 2250 in all gears, at which point it stutters and smokes, fine at lower speeds.
Checked so far.
EGR
Intake air butterfly
Bypassed fuel filter(possible air leak)
Fuel lines and tank all checked for obtructions and leaks.
Air filter.
Brake lights OK.

Found previous posts about neutral switch, cannot locate one. Just rev sw and a pair that are wired in series, presume for 4WD warning.
Same for clutch switch.


Dont think there is an ECU involved as there is no MIL. Will get a Launch on it tomorrow.

Silver bullet would be great, if not, some tech data source so we can work out what should be happening. My feeling is pump timing is being controlled incorrectly some where.
