The dealer told him to buy a new key but if the key was out of sync it wouldn’t need to be replaced. I doubt the snappy can reset this though?
From memory, code 81 is for the signal missing not an incorrect code. I don’t have the info handy to look it up but regardless he will need to com with the EWS. This could also be the signal amp at fault.
