VW Golf 1.9 2007 - Poor / non starting - Fixed #

Year of Manufacture *: 2007
Engine Size and Code *: 1.9
( Optional ) Scanner Used: VCDS

Long story short. car been bounced about till it lands here. Code in module 01 for output circiut A
Live data on crank looks good. Cam Crank sync moves from 2 to 4 in measuring blocks.correctly.
BUT. CKP MAF and BOOST sensors have no 5v feed to them. Unplug ckp and voltage returns.
How can the ECU report ckp/cmp sync as correct with a faulty CKP sensor?
Might also ask why the bloody thing is so impossible to remove!!

There are a few cars that only need a signal from CKP or CMP to start. sometimes in limp mode only, then often shows sync error.
