Peugeot 207 1.6 5FW 2007 - Cooling fan on constant, code P11aa - Fixed #
Posted by andyhyoung on March 16, 2014, 12:05 pm Had a look at this last week.Customer complaint of cooling fan on all the time, and stays on for around 5 mins after switch off. No other drive-ability or starting issues. My initial thought was coolant temp sensor or related connection/wiring problem.Scanner showed dtc P11aa inlet manifold pressure sensor coherence. On top of the plastic cam cover is a small pc valve that had come apart from the main housing. Luckily I found it laying on top of the air cleaner assy and managed to glue it back in position. It is not available as a separate part, only the complete cam box cover at around £300.Cleared codes and checked cooling fan operation and all OK. So now my question is, how can an manifold pressure sensor fault bring on the cooling fan?Any suggestions?
