This vehicle would run fine to 3000rpm when it would loose all power until it cut out,car would restart again everytime with same symptoms.
fault codes stored in ids
p0087 fuel/rail pressure too low
p1180 fuel delivery system low
p1402 egr restricted
p2459 diesel particulate filter frequency

all were cleared,egr never returned particulate one remained constant and 0087 1180 return when fault happened. carried out particulate regen which cured the p2459 fault code but not the pressure fault codes or fault. In the end a new fuel filter cured the fault and customer says car has never gone as well, only done 41000 miles aswell. hope this helps someone.
