Volkswagen Polo 1.4 16V BBZ 2002 - ABS lamp on - Fixed #

Year of Manufacture *: 2002 '02
Engine Size and Code *: 1390 BBZ
( Optional ) Scanner Used: SOLUS PRO
( Optional) Fault Codes: 01276

ABS light on

Scanned, ABS pump circuit electrical problem, checked wiring and fuse 6 on top of battery was cracked, not blown.

Replaced fuse, fault gone.

Absolutely Liam,I see quite a few of these, not sure if I've posted in the general technical forum about it. They always seem to be fractured not blown, I don't know if its vibration induced or whether its the thermal pulses due to the high motor current. I do know they can be very hard to spot with the cracks being almost invisible to the naked eye. I always test with a lamp to be certain.
