Noisy rattle from engine

Diagnosed by another garage as tappet/follower, checked all tappets OK

Noise seemed to be coming from inlet manifold area, the manifold is alloy and splits in two, when separated the metal baffles or swirl plates as they might be known had come loose, re tightened

job done
