Unidentified 'Beauties of England and Wales' scene Posted by Anne-Claire on May 23, 2026, 9:54 am Hello, Can anybody help identify this 'Beauties of England and Wales' scene, please? It doesn't appear in the TCC database as far as I can see. Thanks in advance for your help.

This is identifed as Slingsby Castle, Yorkshire, in Dick Henrywood's Transferware Recorder 3. It is after an 1822 print by Francis Nicholson.

If you could take a picture that is more straight on rather than at an angle, and also include the platter's measurements, that would be terrific. However, the version seen on your platter differs considerably, and features a different mark, thus conceivably it is by a different maker. I imagine Len can sort this out.
