I haven't found the 'floral' plate anywhere, no mark. The larger willow plate has the 2 marks shown. The other, smaller willow is unmarked and paler. Thank you for any suggestions.

Re: Help identifying makers Posted by Len on September 26, 2024, 2:28 pm, in reply to "Help identifying makers" I think the impressed mark reads "Best Goods", which I have on a Romantic pattern cup plate, ca. 1840s or 1850s. The printed mark resembles a couple that say "Staffordshire Stone China". Connie Rogers illustrates several in her book on the Willow pattern, and says it was a standard mark used by a number of makers that added their own names and initials. Without the maker marks it's impossible to say who might have made a particular piece. I have not been able to attribute the Best Goods mark either. Wish I could be more help!
