I've seen a large number of this concept, commonly on plates, and we've just begun to make a representative dent in the large number of what must have been produced. It would be really useful for me if you could research the Halifax Industrial Society: when established? Purpose? Does it still exist? Significance of the beehive? Might this plate commemorate a particular event or anniversary? Thanks!
