My grandfather recently passed, and while dividing the family pieces between my mother and her siblings; my mother came across a gravy boat that she thinks came from my grandfather's aunt. Where she got it from is a mystery. It has no maker's mark and a pattern that doesn't match anything else that the family has. She sent me pictures of it and I figured out it was transferware. So I found this group and I was hoping to find out if anyone here knows it's age and where it came from. The piece went to my Uncle and I thought it would be neat if I could figure out the piece's origins. I have a picture of the side and one of the bottom which has the roman numerals II stamped in.
Thanks in advance,
Deborah
