Hi I found your contact details on the internet whilst trying to research a jug I have. Its a small jug with the pattern boy in the door, the stamp on the base is opaque china M&N in blue. The jug has a face modelled on the spout, with eight sides to the body of the jug. It's very badly damaged and has been repaired along time ago. I could send you photos, could you tell me any more about it? Is it worth anything?
Thank you for your time Audrey Ebrey

Hi Audrey, I am confident that you will find the information you need in Pete Christmas' wonderful article on colored in transferware. You will find the link to the PDF of his article on the Special Interest Articles page on the TCC Wedbsite. Just go to this link. http://www.transcollectorsclub.org/specinterest/articles.html Click on this listing "Christmas, Pete: 1820s Pearlware Filled-in Transfers; Patterns and Attributions." I think you will really enjoy Pete's article resulting from research which was supported a TCC Richard's Research Grant. Loren
