Friends,
I am the developer and overseer of a very large collection of books and objects presenting fables like those of Aesop. It belongs to Creighton University in Omaha, NE, USA. Among the collection are some 29 pieces of 19th-Century Spode. Your page of Spode patterns and shapes is very helpful. As I review it, I notice that we have a tureen lid featuring "The Tortoise and Hare," a fable not included in your list. We also have a "Dog and the Sheep" bowl labeled "The Peacock and the Crane." Might it be good to picture our "Tortoise and Hare" tureen in your helpful group of "Aesop's Fables" patterns?
