i believe the unidentified fragments of the rim sherds [lower photo] may depict flabellum fans. otherwise they may be lily blooms in a side view.
can anyone suggest another identification of this object?
i'm still hoping someone can identify the patterns on the two photos.
the site all of these sherds came from seems to be dating roughly 1830-1840.
