Hi Sheridan. Sorry it has taken me a while to get back to you. These cups and saucers certainly look like they've been around a while, don't they? I don't think they're British - again, more likely out of Asia, perhaps late 19th or early 20th century, but that's just a guess as I haven't seen anything else quite like these.
