Ruth, honestly, I don't know. I haven't heard from others with this problem. Just a flier, try (maybe you have already) entering some text, first, into the Message box, then try uploading your image. Also, perhaps try using another Internet provider. I generally use Safari, but sometimes either Firefox or Chrome work better.
