I recently bought a pot, damaged and without a lid, but the pattern intrigued me. I found a similar scene with chess players on the following websites: https://www.transferwarecollectorsclub.org/pattern-month/chess-battle and https://dishynews.blogspot.com/2017/10/chess-and-transferware-collectors-club.html. However, there are visible differences, and the craftsmanship details are different. The pattern on my jug seems less meticulous, as if someone had carelessly copied the pattern from the links.
Are my observations accurate?
Can you determine the manufacturer of pot and its production date? I will be grateful for your help!
