I found one listing on ebay for this pattern that called it "1800's Aesthetic Period English Tea set black multi color transfer ware". I was hoping to find out some of the history of it. It belonged to my wife's grandmother who lived in a home in Connecticut that was built in the 1600s and was in their family most of its time.
It must have been important since one saucer that appears to have been broken into 4 pieces looks like it was professionally repaired.
