Steve, it looks like your maker is Thomas Godwin, 1834-1854, Burslem, and the pattern is most likely "Polish Star". See images. It is record #18026 in the TCC Database of Patterns and Sources, where we have quite a bit more information on the pattern and the mark, some bibliographic sources, etc.
