This was found in the side yard of an old circa-1734 fur trapper/trader’s cabin in South Central PA. Sadly, the property owners are allowing contents of a midden to slowly work their way down a hill and into a creek. They refuse to let any digs on the property.

Anyway, does pattern look familiar to anyone? Looks like apples to me?
