Hi Sam. I looked for this pattern in the database but didn't see anything similar. It's obviously Aesthetic period, about 1875-1885 or so? I thought it might be part of a larger pattern but I don't see any patterns with Japanese fans that match this one. Possibly a salt dish. Sorry, that's not much help.
