Hi Susan. To search for a border, go to the home page of the database and click on Border in the list of features across the top of the page. That will bring up all the types of borders we have in the database. From your description I would say scroll to Nautical Themes/Shells and look under either Alternating elements or Other. Failing that, maybe go to Miscellaneous/Classical to see what might come up there, but I already made those searches and nothing came up that matches your description. There's a good chance that we don't have your pattern, even after so many years there are still thousands we haven't recorded. Are you able to send a picture of your pattern? One of the members might be able to identify it even without it being in the database. Thanks! Len
