From the rim through the marly: The inside border of the marly is encircled by a stringing of scalloped lines. Then there is a series of branches and vines.
Do you have a name for part of the decoration represented by the branches and vines?
I'd like to use your terminology when I resume searching.
I have 2 patterns I'll be looking for that have a similar element.
I'm working with sherds from a site dating 1790 to 1840ish.
Thanks
