Job & John Jackson's "Clyde Scenery: Jackson"
Posted by Christina on June 7, 2018, 3:29 pm
I am currently working with the NYC Archaeological Repository in order to help catalogue their printed ceramics. We have a ceramic sherd (http://archaeology.cityofnewyork.us/collection/search/stadt--huys--block--203973/keyword/203973/site/stadt-huys-block/page/1/view_as/grid) that uses maker Job & John Jackson's rim motif "Clyde Scenery: Jackson." Is Job & John Jackson the only pottery that used this pattern, or did other producers possibly use it as well? We appreciate your help and any insight you are able to offer regarding these designs.
