Hello all! The archaeological company I work for excavated an ABC ware cup from a historic site in Mississippi. It appears to be ironstone, with a black underglaze transfer print design. One side has who we are thinking is Abraham Lincoln and an unidentified man with the phrase "We be loggerheads three." The other side has what appears to be men playing some sort of game with a rag and some brushes. The alphabet is molded along the upper rim. There is no maker mark present. The cup measures 2.5" in height and 2.7" in diameter. Any information on the activities or people in the pattern, along with any idea of a date range would be incredibly helpful! Thanks, Katherine
