Unless someone had engraved copper plates, and a small factory to apply the ink to the plates, and transfer paper for the pattern so that the pattern could be "transferred" to the bisque-fired ware. Then a clear glaze in which to dip the piece for final firing, I don't see how the pieces could be "homemade". There would have to be plaster of Paris molds for the cups and other hollowware to form the ware before initial firing.
