Does anyone have or know of any samples of "Sydenham" made by Clementson Brothers? This name was used for a variety of patterns by different manufacturers over the years, but the one I am referring to is "Sydenham" that was produced by Joseph Clementson, likely beginning in the early 1850s. Sources indicate that Clementson Brothers operated from 1865 to 1916, taking over the firm from Joseph. This pattern was also produced for an importer, Davenport Brothers of NY (which I've seen 2 different back marks). I've only seen one sample of "Sydenham" by Clementson Brothers but that was only in a brief online auction that ended abruptly which I was unable to verify. This sample used the Clementson phoenix back mark but with the minor variation of listing "Clementson Brothers" instead of "J Clementson". Thanks for any assistance.
Tim
