As you are in New York, there is another aspect of Scottish pottery export wares concerning which you could possibly be of assistance, if you would be so kind. In 1926 or thereby, the great Links Pottery of David Methven & Sons in Kirkcaldy, Fife, foudered. One of the principal reasons was connected with a huge order from a firm in New York. I recently stumbled upon what I believe to be the name of that firm : it was
B. Altman & Co. New York Public Library say they have no material of relevance; do you happen to know of any other possible source?
