I am an Anthropology Master's student at Stanford working on a transferware collection from San Jose's Market Street Chinatown, which dates to the mid-to-late 19th century. I've been attempting to identify roughly 300 ceramic vessels to pattern--some are probably impossible to identify because the fragments are so small, but I've taken pictures of a few that I have not been able to identify but are sizable fragments.
Please see the Snapfish album linked below for images
first image is of a plate with a blue transfer print
second and third image is of a set of 2 mulberry. the first of the two shows the back, which has an urn maker's mark and the name of the maker or the print, ending in "ia." the second image is of the front of the vessel including the border and central image.
fourth and fifth image are of a blue transfer printed tureen
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated! that includes pattern names, makers, period, bibliography, etc.
