"The "R.Hall" mark is that of Ralph Hall. Hall worked in partnership with his brother John originally at the Sytch Pottery in Burslem,
but was operating on his own by 1822. Ralph continued to trade under his own name until taking his son into partnership in 1836 and
then renaming the company to R.Hall & Co in 1841. The company ceased trading c1849 and the Swan Banks Works were taken
over by Podmore Walker & Co in 1853. The marking on yours is thought to date from 1822-1841. In the current market comparable
Ralph Hall plates in this pattern sell in the $80.00-$125.00 range each."
I dont feel this is correct considering there are no comparable plates online that I have found.
