It is Rural Scenes, which was also called Duncan Scenes and Priscilla Alden. The design was registered 19 September 1850 and the central scenes are derived from watercolours by Edward Duncan and specially commissioned by the Copeland family.
The 6" plate has the windmill on. The other element in the border pattern is hops. The A over 83 is a date code for April 1883.
Rural Scenes was produced in blue and often in brown.
Some years ago we bought a large dinner service in brown and four of the original watercolours from the late Robert Copeland. The watercolours remained the property of the Copeland family and used to hang in the design department at the factory, but over the years some of them "disappeared".
