The only Tormays who settled in Plymouth were my grandfather Hugh Joseph Tormay, his brother John Tormay who was married to Letitia (don't know her maiden name) (They had 3 children Berniece John, and Rita. John Jr was the only one who married and had 2 girls Patsy and Ann. His sister Anne who also settled in Plymouth married Hugh O'Kane and they settled in Larksville, PA and then in Wilkes-Barre, PA. All of their children have the last name of O'Kane. I know there was another Tormay family in Hazleton, but we never knew how they were related if they actually were. My grandfather's other brothers beside John were Patrick DOB 6/15/1879 no known Date of Death; Richard 9/14/1884-3/3/1941 (he stayed in Ireland and married there also changed the spelling fo his last name to Tormey) and James 6/15/1886-5/25/1916. The spelling of the last name Tormay is indicative of Co Meath in Ireland so that would tell us there must be some connection. But the challenge is to find out how and with whom. We would have to delve deeper.
