We exchanged a few emails last May. To refresh....all of my family has always stated that their name was Tormey. I have made a tentative connection to Glenmaddy Parish, around Islands East Townland. Martin, Patrick and Michael were found together in the 1860 census of Marshall Township, Richland County, WI. From Martin I know they must have emigrated around 1855. The connection to John is weak, but John traveled with his wife & children in the late 1870's, as they were in the same Township in WI. I have a little bit more generalities that lead me to believe that was a brother to the other three. John's first wife, Selia (Celia) is shown to have died (abt 1866) in the area mentioned in Galway County. According to that document that I have a copy of.....her last name could be either Tarmy or Tormey. John then remarried a Mary Finnegan and they had a child in 1870. Does any of this match anything you have? Shelley Green
