The 200 Point Game

The purpose of the 200 point game is to lengthen the amount of play time for first round players. This format also allows different skill levels to compete and produce different results every night. The players of TOP have voted on this issue many times and the end result each time has been to retain the 200 point game. TOP understands that the 100 point format is the normal way to play regular hearts in a competitive sense however TOP is a social tourney not a professional tourney. At the end of the day most rules and formats are voted in and or retained by you the players. We want everybody to feel welcomed and that they are a part of TOP (Tournament of Players). Your opinions matter and they directly contribute to the on going success of TOP.
