Hi Mary you were one of the first ones on my email
msgs and I don't have alot of time here because I am
just home to shower, wash clothes and go back to
hospital so I will let you know whats up and you can
relay to TOP for me......She had her surgery Thurs as
sched. 5 hrs....got the tumor out and found it was
cancerous....there were cell roots from the tumor
embedded in her brain stem so she will have to do some
chemo/radiation to try and get that out....but....I am
much more hopeful than before...she did well during
surgery and she looks good now as far as color,
weight, coherency, etc....she is in and out on
morphine among other drugs.....she has gotten up a
couple of times to go potty with help....she is very
angry and devastated about her hair...but to me thats
good because every time she gripes at us when we try
to help her sit up or turn it is telling me she is
fighting and the dr told her he wouldn't shave her
head and then did and she remembers that...so that
tells me her memory is ok...just taking it one step at
a time.....Please Please tell TOP I didn't mean to
alarm everyone I barely remember writing that email to
y'all, just wanted to let y'all know where I would
be....but especially THANK YOU guys....for the support
and prayers and concern.....it's funny how close I
feel to y'all even though we haven't even
met....Huggggggs to everyone we are taking it one day
at a time and I am staying beside her til she comes
home....hubby is with her when I'm not.....take care
and will stay in touch...Thank you again Mary I really
