And when it rains, it pours. About 18 months ago I posted about a Parole Division, Deputy Director who retired on very short notice. That what so unusual that I knew there was an untold back story. Typically, when someone who holds a high level position decides to retire, they give a months or more notice. This gives the muckity mucks in Huntsville time to arrange for a brass marching band and then come down and talk for an hour about the retiree's achievements. I have learned from two sources that this married female Deputy Director was up to no good. And two sources is better than the one source that is used by todays Fake News Networks. I was told that this married female Deputy Director was having an illicit affair with a married man. At some point when the wife of the married man discovered his extracurricular activity, she called the Executive Director and complained about the affair. Very shortly, thereafter, the Deputy Director was quietly encouraged to retire.
Now I still don't know if she retired because the agency frowned on what she was doing or not because 90 days later she was rewarded with a part-time PS-V job in Huntsville. If anyone has more details on this please follow-up with a post. I guess the real lesson here is that if you decide to cheat on your spouse make sure the other person doesn't have a spouse, right?
After what this management put me through for so many years, I just have to laugh when I hear stuff like this and how the former Division Director divorced his wife to be with his office sweetie. Love is in the air...............
