Career politicians, typically don’t admit there’s a problem. Most are like an ostrich. They bury their heads in the sand and hope the problem goes away, or the general public forgets, before election day. If Abbot had any intentions of doing that, it probably would have already happened. That’s just my personal opinion. As far as Desantis goes, he probably has his sights set on higher office. I’d guess he’s trying to clean up a mess that would likely follow him, on the national level. That’s another one of my personal opinions.
So come November, you have two choices. You can vote for a guy that appointed the board members, that have allowed chaos and incompetence to rein. That’s a fact, not an opinion. Or the other choice is to vote for a guy that publicly stated he believes incarcerated felons (TDC inmates) should be allowed to vote and law abiding citizens should have their guns taken away from them. Those statements are facts, not opinions.
I find the two choices about as appealing as an all expense paid vacation to Trinity, Texas. There’s nothing at all to get excited about and there’s a whole lot to be afraid of.
You be the judge.
