I have been suggesting this for 20 years ...I have worked at a Max for almost 25 years and seen thousands of " Wanna Be Correctional Officers " come and go .. The only one that gets a pay differential is the senior Warden .. How fair is that .. 10 percent is a start , but it needs to be closer to 25 percent in order to entice and retain qualified Correctional Staff .. People need to get and vote or we will continue to be among the lowest paid Correctional officers on the United States ..
