I left in 2010. Have not even driven by the old unit . Don't imagine I ever will. I said my goodbye's and well wishes via radio as I parked the truck. Locked the motor pool gate, handed the keys to my supervisor, and never looked back. Now, I rarely even think of TDC unless I happen see a chain bus, or a truck from one of the distribution warehouses on the highway. That and occasionally I will see a van down in the medical district. When I left, I had pretty much burned out and left nothing behind. I saw an earlier post about someone wanting to rehire. I wish him all the luck in the world, and feel sorry for him at the same time. I know jobs are hard to find, but your health, both mental and physical, are worth something, too. But you know, you man up and do what you have to do for your family. He has my respect and I wish him the best. As for me, TDC is a distant memory. I have no regrets about leaving, nor for not being interested in the agency. I pray for the TDC bosses everyday, that each make it home at the end of their shift. But as for me, it's good riddance. I only come here occasionally, mostly to see who got promotions
