There is nothing in policy that says you are entitled to remain on any specific shift. The same policy that allows shift supervisors to be moved around is the same one that allows you to be moved too. It's business; don't take it personal and if you do then come to work.
Finally, it amazes me that you can make it through a 6 wks academy and not miss one day but you can't make it 4 wks on the unit without missing a day usually in conjunction with a weekend or days off every month for years. No one made you apply for the job so if you don't want to be there then leave. Otherwise bring your butt to work. Read the policy, you can be put on any shift based on the needs of the unit. I suggest if you like your shift, be at work on time like your check is. And, your unit is not the only one doing this.
