New PAT

The agency has logged a large number of work related injuries due to the new PAT format. It seems that the agency is targeting the veteran older employees who have given most of their lives to the agency. 30 years of fighting inmates and walking in concrete floors takes a toll on the knees. And 90 percent of the PT required at the new PAT requires that lower body work. Seems when an agency is using tons of overtime money because it’s 4000 officers short they may be a little concerned with phasing out the huge number of vets we have working today. DPS officers union has filed to modify their annual PT based on age. A less impactful program. OIG uses a row machine for testing.... who’s up for a class action age lawsuit ??
