: Hi Bert;
: Thank you for your suggestions,& the Auto Starter Relay Sw Idea.
: You asked what I was using to Charge the Capacitor?
: I am using an Adapter Power Supply, Class 2 with 110 Volt input & 20
: Volt DC at 1 amp.output to Charge the 2 Farad Capacitor & it will Spot
: Weld Sheet Metal.
: The wiring diagram is the other issue which you said will need a little
: engineering help.
: Best Regards,
: Roger
: Hello Roger,
: For your system, I'd suggest using a manual switch to connect/disconnect
: the low voltage charging supply to the capacitors. If you decide to use a
: starter relay, you'll also need a high-current 12 volt supply (such as a 12
: volt gel cell battery) to supply current for the starter relay and a heavy
: duty push button to control it. That should do the trick (assuming the
: contacts in your starting relay don't weld). Not real fancy but
: functional...
: Good luck and best regards,
